History of Ed Malley & The SSD Group®
Before entering into advertising, Mr. Malley enjoyed a long and successful career in television broadcasting. He won several journalism awards including the Michigan Associated Press' Broadcaster's First Place Award for General Excellence in Individual Reporting. He was an on-air newscaster with television stations in Detroit, Denver, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, and Winston-Salem, culminating in a news reporting position with the CBS flagship station in New York City. Understanding the power and scope of television, Ed Malley then brought his years of success and experience to the field of legal advertising. Mr. Malley established Professional Media Services, Inc., an advertising agency that specializes in dignified, effective TV marketing for individual law firms. Professional Media soon had client-attorneys in over one hundred cities across the country. To date, Ed Malley has produced thousands of successful television commercials for lawyers across the country.
Mr. Malley started The SSD Group® for attorneys who want to receive cases from TV by participating in a cooperative advertising program. The SSD Group® enables each member to pay only a small fraction of a substantial overall TV budget. This allows participants to receive a maximum number of cases at a limited cost.
